FOUNDER
Keith Vassell is deeply passionate and committed to the future of young student-athletes and the sport of basketball. His vision is to establish an organization dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, inspiring young athletes to strive for greatness. This vision led to the founding of THE ROCK Sports Academy.
Keith’s journey in coaching began in 1998, fueled by a rich background in basketball. His expertise was honed as a player at elite levels, including high school, university, Canada Basketball, and OBA programs, culminating in an eleven-year professional career. With over 27 years of basketball experience, Keith has achieved remarkable success as a professional coach in Europe, securing two National Championships and a Finalist appearance in just six years.
